Dr. Estelle Clements is a researcher in Digital Civics. After formulating a definition and conceptual underpinning for Digital Civics, she launched the first global digital civics pedagogy project in 2010, working together with Dublin City Libraries, One City, One Book. She has published in the Journal of Documentation, Memory Studies, and Philosophy & Technology.
In addition to her research, Estelle holds teaching qualifications for Canada and the United Kingdom. She has also managed a number of projects in community oriented settings, including her production of Bram Stoker’s Wedding, that supported Dublin’s successful bid for UNESCO City of Literature designate status.
